A Party and government delegation from Zhejiang Province arrived in Beijing on May 12 for a study tour, and visited Zhejiang entrepreneur representatives in Beijing on the morning of May 13th.

Leaders from both Beijing and Zhejiang, including Cai Qi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Yuan Jiajun, Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Standing Committee of the NPC, Chen Jining, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Beijing, and Zheng Zhajie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province were present at the visit and meeting, as were more than 30 representatives from Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, Tianjin Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and Zhejiang Enterprise Confederation in Hebei Province.

Yuan Jiajun said that Zhejiang entrepreneurs in Beijing should take the initiative to assume social responsibility while successfully developing their own business, so that they can display Zhejiang’s “gold name card” to Beijing. It is hoped that all will stay rooted to their core business and industry, seize opportunities and momentum to advance, and continue to enhance their core corporate competitiveness. They should also continue to innovate and be enterprising, scale new heights, and shine the gold name card (enhance the sterling reputation) of “Zhejiang entrepreneurs” in promising Beijing. Zhejiang entrepreneurs should return home often, and visit places in Zhejiang that most require development and sectors where they are best able play a role to invest and develop, so as to make due contribution to the building of a “key window” for Zhejiang.

Shen Guojun, Yintai Group’s Founder and Chairman, Executive Chairman of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, President of the General Association of Ningbo Entrepreneurs, and Honorary Life President of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting. After the meeting, he said that the requests and expectations presented by the Party and political leaders from his home province that he heard at the meeting in person was very encouraging. Under the kind attention and strong leadership of the Party committee and government at all levels, he and all Zhejiang entrepreneurs will continue to work hard, and contribute to the high-quality development of Beijing and Zhejiang!
