Ningbo Fenghua No. 2 High School held a school opening ceremony on September 4, officially welcoming students back to school. As an integral part of the opening ceremony, the school awarded Shen Guojun Scholarships to outstanding students for the 7th year in a row.

A total of 139 students and teachers received the scholarships at the school’s opening ceremony this year.

For a long time, Shen Guojun has always cared about his hometown and actively promoted local social and economic development and public welfare undertakings. He has made a string of donations for ecological and environment protection and talent training. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of his alma mater Fenghua No. 2 High School in December 2012, Shen established Shen Guojun Teacher & Student Scholarships to reward outstanding students and teachers at the school. To date, a total of 1,048 outstanding teachers and students have been awarded the scholarships.
