On the night of June 23, Metro Land Corporation Ltd (600683; hereinafter referred to as “Metro Land”) announced that the finance personnel of its 50%-owned Beijing Jingtou Yintai Property Co., Ltd. fell victim to a criminal gang’s telemarketing fraud, causing RMB26.7 million to be stolen online from the company’s bank account on June 22.

In the announcement issued by Metro Land, the abbreviation used for the aforesaid company was “Yintai Property”.

Beijing Yintai Property Co., Ltd. hereby states that:

Beijing Jingtou Yintai Property Co., Ltd. and Beijing Yintai Property Co., Ltd. are completely unrelated.

The public is advised to take note of this matter and distinguish between the two entities.
