As the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control turned the corner, Spring plowing and production got underway, and resumption of business operations and production gathered pace. The heavily battered tourism industry too has begun to recover.

Yintai Tourism’s Xikou Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area in Fenghua, Ningbo, took the initiative to assume social responsibility for the renowned scenic spot, and recently opened its doors to welcome courageous contrarians from all walks of life in the community. This followed its initiative during the epidemic to grant free admission and thanksgiving activities to medical workers.

On April 11, Xikou Scenic Area welcomed a group of anti-epidemic frontline workers from Zhejiang Jetta Property Service Co., Ltd. The company has close to 100 property management projects in Fenghua District, Ningbo. After the outbreak of the epidemic, it was at the frontline of epidemic prevention and control. In the process of jointly combating the epidemic, “Jetta people” were fearless, worked around the clock, and performed their duties to the best of their abilities with total dedication.

To thank these “anti-epidemic heroes” for their hard work, Jetta and Xikou Scenic Area planned this trip together so that their employees can relax and enjoy the fresh air of the Xuedou Mountain landscape, pray at a sacred Buddhist site, and savor the Culture of Republic of China.

Xikou Scenic Area arranged for tour buses that meet safety standards, and disinfected the buses thoroughly. Drivers and workers wore masks for the entire journey to ensure that the visitors could enjoy themselves at ease. President Xi Jinping visited Zhejiang scenic spots recently for an inspection, and showed concern for development of the tourism industry. Against this backdrop, Xikou Scenic Area will bring into full play the tourism industry’s role in “improving the people’s livelihood, boosting domestic demand, stabilizing growth and promoting development”. It will take a rational approach in responding to the new development situation in the tourism industry, effectively carry out epidemic prevention and control as well as help the tourism market recover, facilitate mutual sharing of the development achievements in tourism, and promote sustainable and sound growth in the sector. It will also continue to serve anti-epidemic workers from all walks of life as well as travel afficionados, and help Ningbo’s tourism market rebound strongly.
